transcoding and pop up tweak

First when i setup a recording i would like the option to transcode. Further when i am done watching a show and i press stop the popup i used to start the show is still there except when i try to navigate to the delete option with my hauppauge remote. It bounces me back out to the show selection screen and i have to go back in to delete the show. A minor annoyance.

I hope that the navigation was fixed in the new version I will be checking that out soon. An Addition to this wishlist is that i would like to add the ability to change the aspect ratio per channel so add this somewhere in the channel setup area. I dont know why but now that my cable company has gone all digital some of the channels are odd. In that one channel seems to look better in letter box some look better in full screen. I have this hooked up to a 4:3 TV so maybe that is the issue. Anyways would like to auto set this per tv channel.
