Amazon Image Format

Downloaded images [Amazon] are BMP format which are not compatible with NPVR Recordings [JPG or PNG]. Obviously they could be converted if required but are JPG or PNG not available instead?

Hi,

what do you mean by "not compatible"? For the format, I'm not sure at the moment, but I as far as I can remember, I save a copy of the already resized file and not the original one, so that why it's saved as bitmap. When I get the time, I'll have a look if I can save the original one instead, or just fake another format by using another extension (I think .NET doesn't take the file extension into account when loading images).

Hi Alibert
It was only a minor point that NPVR doesn't load BMP images for it's own Recordings Screen so if TV Listings is uninstalled for some reason the images are no use [without conversion]. Since the images are JPG at Amazon if TV Listings didn't convert them to BMP this wouldn't happen. Don't bother if it's a hassle - I'm sticking with TV Listings anyway!
