NMT Video Playback - does it receive start/stop events

Or more precisely does the nextpvr controlled by the popcorn hour see these events?

Most interested in the Stop playback event. I'm getting the impression it doesn't fire when play back stopped on a popcorn hour.

You should get a PLAYBACK_STOPPED event when playback of a recording is stopped or completes.

Maybe not when playing a non .ts file though. I cant remember what happens with these types of files.

yeah it's the non .ts files that I'd be interested in (coming from plex)

I dont think that'd generate an event when file playback completes, but with Martin's help I can probably add something.

I was thinking about just setting watched on start playback, but it'd be nice to capture the stop.

Not sure if you'd want to stretch to how far through you are? Like with a .ts.

Yes I just did a quick check here on a .AVI and saw both PLAYBACK_STOPPED and PLAYBACK_ENDED

Hm, ok, I'll have to look at my logging and see if I'm seeing in on my plex plugin.

ahh ok, seems it's my fault, in the event I'm getting a 0 for duration (because it's an NMT) and so not setting the watched status because it's not 50% of the way through. Ok, I might fix that, since I'm manually setting watched after watching something.

It wouldn't be hard for me to send back the end location if sub made use of it.
