finely have npvr working,all most,but when i change mode, like from play to live tv, i lose the sound.the only way i can get it back is to reboot the putter.i am runing windows 7 with diamond vc 500 capture device.

thinks for fast reply.dont know how that got in there.audio renderer set for default(recommended)and is showing up differen.but when i went from play back to live tv no audio.
Sorry - red herring. Being on holiday for the last week has made my brain slow and stupid. It was normal to see that audio renderer listed there. I was thinking of something else that can cause audio problems.
I'm not really sure what to suggest. Given others aren't reporting the same problem though, it may be related to your Diamond VC 500 drivers. Maybe see if there is updated drivers available.
thanks i will give that a try. app. that came with it work fine just cant make a scheduled recording with it.
no new drivers found.
