Thread: unhandled exception trying to view live or recorded tv

    I think I about have it fixed. I went to task manager and checked running processes and one of them was tvservice.exe. I stopped it and went to npvr and I could see live tv. Seems like so far everything else is working ok. Now all I have to do is track down what started the tvservice and stop it. Thanks for your help Martin, don't think I could of done it without you.

    I found it. MediaPortal was starting tvservice.exe. For anybody that is having same problem, I went to administrative tools / services and found tvservice.exe, clicked on it and changed startup type from automatic to manual then restarted computer and everything works good.
