    To think I paid about $100 more for mine a few years back. I guess the lack of QAM support and push to cablecard tuners has made a huge impact.

    I'm in the same boat.....I have two of the dual tuners....I must say these newer ones do not look to have the same construction as the ones I have so perhaps some of the savings is in the production materials.

    I have 2 of the "old-style" ones too. I wonder if the new ones have better tuners?
