    AC Ryan PlayonHD2 media player

Just brought one for Gym room
While playing with it I figured out that from the FaceBook app(you can use it like a web browser) within the media player you can enter into NEWA and can get into tv guide and actually set up recordings just the same as you can from a PC
You can use a mouse and keyboard with it also
I have tried many media player and this is the first one that you can actually browse the net

That AC Ryan uses the older generation Realtek 1185 chip http://www.iboum.com/net-media-playe...&chip=real1085 and there are so many player with it, it really is hard to choose, which is why I never bought one. They have now bee superceded by the 1186 line, and I might get one.

As for browsing with the remote no thanks. My Boxee Box and Samsung have reasonable browsers but I'll stick with my laptop and watch TV.

Just in case people read stustunz's post, AC Ryan is now bankrupt http://hexus.net/ce/news/audio-visua...tes-euro-dust/ The extender business is really tough these days.
