No audio for avi on nmt

I was recently without power for 5 days, so missed a few recordings. I've now acquired these recordings as .avi files. Some of these files have no audio when played with PCH, but have audio when played on PC. Obviously it is the audio format of the files. Not obviously (to me) is how to rectify this, or even tell what the problem is. Is there a setting for the PCH that may handle this, or a tool to reencode the avi? I usually use VideoReDo for these type of repairs, but it does not handle avi files.

Outstanding, thank you, that does it. Used avidemux to "Build VBR time map" which fixed the problem files.
