    USB-UIRT as input device

    Hi,

Just switched to NPVR. Love the work you've done with setup, it's really nice

One question, if I want to use my usb-uirt as an input device just like I've done in gbpvr, am I out of luck?

    /Stefan

There is nothing built in, but you can use HIP to handle the input and control NPVR.

I could give that a go. Never had any luck with it tthe last time, but it could be that I gave up since it worked built in from gbpvr, right?

IR Server Suite and EventGhost are other alternative apps you could use for this task.

I've never used any of them, so I cant recommend a best app from this bunch.

I donwloaded and ran the configuration of HIP. It has now learned my remote. Next: figure out how to get HIP to control NPVR To the wiki!
