I know there used to be a callerID plugin using this program

Is it possible to make one for NPVR?

I did look in to this a while back, there was a server you can run (it might be this one) that then broadcasts the caller ID info on the network for any "clients" to pick up and see to then do what ever you wanted.
As NPVR has overlay possible i dont see why it wouldnt be hard for this to work, i am sure this protocol is used in the newer IP phone protocols making any application very universal once constructed (point to 1 server and get all caller ID info).
Yes, you can set up one 'sever' system that has the phone access and it will send the caller id info to any listeners you have on the network. Somebody created a plugin for GBPVR with this back in the day but it was never maintained.

Yes, it supported YAC (no longer seems maintained) and NCID (which is still doing well.) I'm using NCID and keep hoping someone will write something for NPVR.
