Sorry to be a pest
The live tv does not work at all on the popcorn hour. It just sits there. It works on the PC.
Here are the logs
Thanks

Not sure if it's relevant, but whenver you start a live stream, the Nrecord log shows this:
Code:2010-07-01 07:42:59.035 [ERROR][25] Error fixing FPU: System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'msvcr70.dll': The specified module could not be found. You can ignore that error mentioned by JonnyCam. Its not that.
Is it just live tv? ie, can you watch recordings?
I have not tried any recordings as yet as I have that looping problem in the other thread. I will try one recording shortly

I was able to duplicate both dave.t's NMT issues (this post and this one http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread....ooping-problem ) by manually deleting HKCU\Software\NPVR from the Local System registry. This is probably what this log error is about.
Going into Music and changing the view (which created the key) seems to fix this.Code:2010-07-01 14:30:23.623 [ERROR][3] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at NextPVR.Players.LiveTvPlayer.StartLiveTV(String& reason) at NextPVR.MVP.MVPServerForm.PlayLiveTV() at NextPVR.Menu.AeonLike.OnKeyDown(KeyEventArgs e) at NextPVR.MVP.MVPServerForm.ControlThread()

Ok, I've fixed this for the next build. Good spotting.
The thing I like about NMT and MVP programming is being able to disregard the platform when it comes to problems that I don't have.
@dave.t until the update is available if you create this registry key you probably will be ok.
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18\Software\npvr

Excellent!!!
Just adding that line not only fixed the live tv but the looping has gone as well!
Well done
thanks
