    NPVR Stable

Is the new NPVR considered stable enough for constant, normal use, or should we use GBPVR until NPVR is out of Beta?

Just the fact that it's listed as a beta tells me it's not stable enough however, some of us have had good luck with it so far. A lot depends on exactly how you use it. I'm sure sub would love you to play with it as much as possible and offer feedback on it.

I think mine works well enough to start some summer season household use testing. Not much loss since there is not much good on this time of year. I might miss Hells Kitchen, but I can easily replicate it by yelling and swearing at anyone that walks by.

Most of the crashes I have are with watching live tv and not with recordings.

I'm almost there as well. Recordings have not been 99% but it's getting there. I have 2 systems so many times I have dual recordings as a backup. I really don't even watch that much tv but I do need my scifi junk to get my geek on.
