    Adding a HD

If I add a larger capacity HD to my HTPC, and point GBPVR to this new drive as my Recordings folder, will GBPVR look for my old recordings on the new drive, not find them and remove them from the DB? Or is the full path stored in the DB so I'll continue to have full access to the recordings through GBPVR?

    Using GB-PVR since December 2005
    NextPVR 2.3.6
Server:Windows 7 Pro, Intel Dual Core something or other, 2GB RAM, 1 TB HD
Hauppauge PVR-150MCE x2 (oh to have more PCI slots!)
    Hauppauge HVR-950q - OTA
    PCH A-100 (main TV)
    PCH A-100 (second TV)
    Harmony 650 Remote
R.I.P. Hauppuage PVR-250 we had 5 years of good GBPVR fun

It will look for the recordings where they were originally recorded.
With the default setting in config.xml it will remove recordings it cannot find
    <AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>true</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>

New recordings will be saved where the directory in config points to.

Make a backup recordings dump from config and probably backup your database as well (can't have too many backups.

What I did was to use a "find and replace" on the exported recordings to point to their new location and re import the list.

Maybe change <AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>true</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings> to false while you are messing around (restart recording service for it to take effect).

Thanks, just the kind of information I was looking for.

Now to hunt down some TB storage options.
