I've been following the recent posts on the new versions of UltraXMLTV. Last night I ran the new version 116 and I am getting error dialog message boxes.
I have had two different failure modes. "Runtime error 13 type mismatch" and "runtime error 424 object required" both dialog boxes titled from UltraxmlTV_Enhancer.
The interesting part of this is the failures ONLY occur when my UpdateEPG.bat file is started automatically by PVRX2. If I run the bat file from the command line or from the Update EPG system menu item it always works without the error dialogs.
Also a small suggestion. Would be helpful if the log file contained the version number and build date of the executable and some entries about copying source xml file and processing complete.

1.2.121 should do the trick for you. I tested running the recording service with and without interacting with the desktop, and there was no difference, so that wasn't it...
I believe I have trapped the errors you had...

Hi, this is a cool program, thanks. It does things I would think eventually GBPVR should do, but it's great for now.
First off, had to install this (msinet.cab):
https://www.javacoolsoftware.com/sup...=11&nav=0,2,11
It wasn't mentioned in the wiki, and wasn't included with the vbrun60sp6, so it might be worth a mention.
Now, it seems to go smoothly, but the detection check doesn't appear by previously shown, even though there are <previously-shown /> tags in the xml file.
When I change the tag to <previously-shown></previously-shown> in the XML file, it detects it.
Any way you could add detection for open-and-close-in-one tags?![]()

Thanks. Yes you're right. When you know the inner workings it's hard not to use your own creation
I don't think its output is so different that you will need to detect the source and compensate, maybe just search for <previously-shown /> as well as <previously-shown></previously-shown>
Try version 123 from the wiki
It will detect your XMLTV and auto suggest 'Previously-Shown is null'
I'm checking for <previously-shown /> and <previously-shown/> (the latter has no space...
<previously-shown></previously-shown> is actually not permitted in the DTD
I've also added support to detecting Movies in your xmltv output...

Cool, it works, thanks
I am a new user and have just installed the new release. I signed up for Schedules Direct and designated this as my EPG source; however, I keep getting the (500) Internal Server Error when trying to update the EPG. This means that I cannot even tryout the GB-PVR program for recording. Can any one help with this problem?
