You might be happy to know that your "MAX & Loretta" sample now plays with perfect sync on the PCH. I've kept it with my difficult samples.

I wish I'd recorded a more impressive show like "24", or "Prison Break" . However, it makes me laugh everytime you mention it! MAX is the broadcaster for our senior citizens, "not that there's anything wrong with that" (Seinfeld quote).

It looks like my PCH is arriving in the next few days already!

What files do you have in your c:\PCH\Web directory? This error looks like youve copied your c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\web directory into you PCH\web directory. These are two separate web servers and host different files. The error above is for a file from the built in EWA web server.

Or maybe you've tried changing your port number of the built in webserver to 12123 in the config app? You shouldnt do this.

You are right. Somehow I had the EWA files in the same directory. I got that all taken care of and it somewhat works on the LinkTheater. I got the GBPVR screen but some of the arrow buttons on the remote wouldn't work correctly. The down button would cause the whole screen to shift up like a page scroll and in "recordings" I could not get it to play anything. I would hit "enter" after highlighting the "Play" button but the screen would blink then go back to the GBPVR "recordings" screen.

I use Wizd so I will look at how the TVID keys work on it and maybe change some things on the "index.aspx" page.

Unfortunately I dont really know anything about the Buffalo LinkTheater, so you're kind of on your own with this one, but let me know if you make any progress.

I've attached an updated version of the Popcorn Hour client. This one now has basic live tv support. You can change up/down through the available channels using the Next/Prev buttons on your PH remote.

I've also added these additional key mappings which speed the process when navigating around the TV Guide:

RED = RW
GREEN = FF
YELLOW = Skip Back
BLUE = Skip Forward
REPEAT = Record

Brief instructions for first time users:

For now you need to do two things to get it going.

1) First is apply the patched version of PVRX2.exe (on top of your existing 1.1.5 install). You need to run an instance of it with the "-pch" command line parameter.
2) Second is run the standalone web server and SSDP server (PCHServer.exe). You need to be running an instance of this. Extract this to a directory outside of the GB-PVR directory and run PCHServe.exe.

Now when you click the 'Media Source' button on the PCH menu you should get a GB-PVR option.

I got my new toy today and I started playing with it. I started with the GB-PVR plugin (great work, Sub!) and was a litle disappointed with the playing of divx files (very choppy display). Later I played the same files with MyIhome software and it played great on the PCH. So it looks like the GB-PVR plugin is somehow influencing the performance of the PCH, at least for those divx files. Is anyone else experiencing this as well?

one can play DVD in PCH no problems, just not via gbpvr..
i think its some thing to do whit theurl to the media or some thing, it will just report it cant find the files, and crash..

Its not something I've tried, but I thought I read on the NMT forums that you couldnt play a DVD over HTTP.

How did you try playing a DVD? Was it from you machine remotely to the PCH, or did you have a USB DVD drive attached?

I've mainly focused on .mpg and .ts files, but I'll look into it.

sure you can play DVD thats what the PHC is all about all media formats hehe
you can play via Network share dvd.
or via the myihomeserver softwear.

both work
i have the gbpvr soft setup to play from a drive on the same computer the gbpvr is installed on.
