Start Gbpvr with hauppauge remote

I have the hauppauge 45 button remote and running v1.0.16. My remote works like it should except I can't start the program with the power button.

I use to have an ini file that worked with the old GBPVR but all is lost.

Have you checked the ini is pointing to the new executable ie PVRX2.exe and not GBPVR.exe?

No it's not.
I don't know how to write the ini file to do that. Before I just copied another ini from this forum.

I am having the same issue. Downloaded HIP and opened the Keymap config, modified Power button program to this. Thank you for your help.

In your windows directory, there is a file called irremote.ini

Open it up and search for the phrase GRNPOWER, if you have a line that has no semicolon as the first character, then put a semicolon at the front, add a new line below that shows:

GRNPOWER={run(c:\PROGRA~1\devnz\gbpvr\PVRX2.exe)}

Above is the default location for GBPVR. That will do it.
