2. why? why!? do people always use that image with the diagonal lines in other places, that are not square at all. I have seen it done by at least 3 people now!

Because it is one of the three or so images you can choose for backgrounds in text areas (as well as transparent).

How can I have Roys on my main PC and Tom's on the MVP (14" screen !!!)??

This is my latest TV Guide, which is bigger for MVP.

There is a comment in the skin file not to use vertical gradients, but I like them, so I tried and they work in the grid, but the timeline is horizontal gradient.

edit - Actually, that comment is in baseskin.xml which I've tweaked for my own theme

I think the attached has everything I've done. I guess I need to come up with a cool name for my theme, once I can settle on one. I don't really feel like it's mine tho, I'm just picking and choosing from the community's hard work, and tweaking it to my liking.

Anyway, red did not pass the WAF, doesn't look as good on MVP. Maybe we'll try aqua tonite.

Yeah, this is on my laptop without an actual tuner, but you can tell who rules the recordings in this house.

Thanks to Fatman_do for providing the skin for TV Listings. I've tweaked it to my liking (basically like I had it for 99.12). And, I'm back to a blue theme based on Sassari (hope Ted approves).

Everything should be in the zip attached. I think I'm done.

if you want to give a hand on the actual version of sassari... let me know, I could use a lil bit of help... its just so tedious editing the skin files...
