I upgraded to WinXP last night, and there is an upgrade on the MS site for net3.0. Is Net3.0 working with GBPVR? Is there a reason to upgrade to it?

There's no reason to update to 3.0 for GBPVR, but it won't hurt if you do.
3.0 is basically just an add-on to 2.0. It does not change any of the files included in 2.0, it only adds some new libraries which are mostly to do with WPF.

Windows Presentation Foundation...It's what makes vista so pretty...

I'm intending to stick with .Net 2.0 for the foreseeable future. There is nothing extra in .Net 3.0 which GB-PVR needs. As Carlito says above though, .net 3.0 is actually just .net 2.0 + some extra libraries bundled in.
upgrading won't break anything though.

True, but I wont be introducing any new dependencies requiring everyone to upgarde to .net 3.0.
Good to hear no dependencies on net3.0 in the future.
I just moved off of win2k, so this is less of an issue to me than others, but net3.0 isn't supported on 2k so that could have been a problem.
Unless you install Uburadio.... which (unless it's been fixed) looks for the latest version of .Net 2, but needs a special install for .Net 3.0.
Cheers,
- If you have .Net 3.0 installed, you will have to install UbuRecordingService manually. eg: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.5727\Insta llUtil.exe “<your gbpvr directory>\Plugins\UbuStream\UbuRecordingService\U buRecordingService.exe”

If you've ever become frustrated because something in GBPVR or NPVR is not working, take a moment and consider this and this and this and this and this and this. Credit where credit's due; for one guy (with a wife and two kids), most problems are solved outrageously quickly. Patience.
