FSE and launching external apps

I have GBPVR set up to launch a few external apps. A couple games which launch full screen. The custom tasks are set up to hide GBPVR at launch.

However when launching the games gbpvr still stays focused and I cannot get around anywhere in the other apps. Is this a side effect of using FSE?

Ok, I'll probably just set up a batch to stop gbpvr then launch the app.
