    Missing onscreen skip from recording playback

    Ver. 0.97.13
    Used to be there, but disappeared. When I play a recording back, the normal onscreen skip features (Fast Forward, Rewind, Exit) no longer popup with a mouse-over.

    They're still there for me. Do you see any OSD info?

    Live TV OSD, Rec Playback no OSD.

    I don't see any OSD in the Recording playback, but I do see the OSD in Live TV.

    Maybe you are using the Cyberlink decoder with VMR? By default the Cyberlink decoder is not compatible with VMR, until registry settings are added. This results in no OSD.

    I changed the Software MPEG-2 Playback - Video Decoder from "System Default" to "InterVideo NonCSS..." and this fixed the problem. Thanks for the help and quick response.

    Yeah, so it sounds like the Cyberlink decoder was the 'system default' on your machine. Glad to hear you got it working.
