I have completely redone the Logos for Freeview and Freesat - including adding the Drama Channel which will replace DaveJaVue on the 8th July on Freeveiw.
I have split them into separate Zips for Freesat and Freeview TV and Radio - each archive has all the logos for that format so you only have to download one or the other (unless you have Freesat & Freeview)

I believe I have now included all the shopping, religious, ethnic, etc. channels and also BBC Red Button logos for the new channels that are about to appear. The only logos missing are the adult channels as the logos are just about impossible to find on line - might just do a Plain Brown Envelope one :D
There is now a list of the channels in each archive.

After careful consideration, they are still in 16:9 format 256x144 for TV and 350x197 for Radio, but if required for a particular application I could batch any size up to 1000 x 562

If there are any channels missing that I have not noticed or any you would like me to add (non Freesat free to air?) just list them and I may oblige - I most probably won't be doing sky channels, unless someone compiles and supplies a set of Vector Graphics (svg) or very high resolution images.

Recently Lao Pan posted some new 16:9 UK channel logos & it got me to thinking that my channel logo's were in need of some touching up (to be honest they looked like total crap in comparison to his)....

Because I have no intention of merging my satellite & terrestrial sources I decided to do a couple of complete sets with totally different styles (which grew into three sets when the Boss & I couldn't agree on the colour for the "tile" set), this way I can tell at a glance (with my JustRetro skin that displays channel logos in the recording screen) which source a recording was recorded from......

Example screenshot attached (the top lot I have called "Tile-Gold" the middle ones "Tile-Mauve" & the grey ones "Plaques", all three sets have all the logos for all the common Freeview TV & Radio station (both DVB-T & DVB-S) but the Plaques also have some alternatives included that have the channels old logo & some I just simply prefer to the latest ones.

You will need to put them into your "DataDirectory\NPVR\Media\Channels" directory & rename the .jpg's to have the "exact same name" as your channels for them to work.

I'm pleased to announce the release of MovieTrailers, a NextPVR plugin that allows you to watch a selection of trailers for new and upcoming movies. It supports playback in a variety of resolutions, from 360p (low quality) to 1080p (full HD).

You can download it now from its wiki page.

The plugin currently supports trailers from Apple iTunes Movie Trailers, streaming them instantly, and caching them locally for subsequent viewings. Obviously your internet connection must be fast enough to support this...back of the envelope calculations suggest each resolution requires the following minimum bandwidth:

- 360p - approx 1.5 Mbps
- 480p - approx 2.5 Mbps
- 720p - approx 6 Mbps
- 1080p - approx 10 Mbps

Future versions will likely support proper buffering of trailers, an alternative playback method based on whurlston's YouTube plugin, and background downloading of trailers. Note that (for now anyway) the Apple trailers feed only seems to update once a week at 9AM Monday, GMT.

For feedback and support, please use the 3rd party Plugins area of the forum.

This plugin matches your monitor, TV or display panel's refresh rate with the content rate of whatever media is playing. Playing media at the correct refresh rate ensures smooth video playback with no stuttering, dropped, or repeated frames.

http://www.gbpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.ph...in.AutoRefresh

The latest version was released on December 21st and includes the following changes:

- Settings are now stored in /Plugins/AutoRefresh/AutoRefresh.xml rather than config.xml
- Updated MediaInfo to version 0.7.61
- Added an additional option to control how much logging is produced
- Added functionality to support changing refresh rates when called by the MovieTrailers plugin
- Added EventBus handling for AUTOREFRESH_PATH and AUTOREFRESH_FRAMERATE

Note that as the settings are now stored in its own folder (rather than embedded in config.xml) you'll need to reconfigure the plugin because your old settings will be lost.

Other plugins can activate the refresh rate changing by using the new EventBus methods:

- AUTOREFRESH_PATH: eventArg is a string to the path of a media file to query
- AUTOREFRESH_FRAMERATE: eventArg is a string containing the frame rate of a media file (eg 23.976)

Here's a new release - Movies 2.0,

Changed content rating (certification) extraction from nfo. In setup you can specify a comma separated list of countries to look for a country specific rating in certification tag. It's case-sensitive. The default is USA. e.g.: "West Germany,Germany,Hungary,USA". For this to take effect you need to run the build with rebuild checked in setup (see below).

Added <moviname>-poster.jpg to posters lookup

Use plot or outline if the other is empty (plot used for listview and details, outline for covers and iconsview)

Added a "rebuild" check box to setup to build completely from scratch (ignores already existing output.xml)

Build externally: ExtBuild.exe - Parameters /s: silent (not attempting to open movies.log at the end of the build), /u: update, /r: rebuild. You need to copy ExtBuild.exe to the same directory as NUtility.dll (C:\Program Files\NPVR\).

Build from menu (runs with /s: silent, /u: update). You can't rebuild from menu.

Handling multiple genre tags in nfo. For this to take effect, you need to run the build with rebuild checked in setup (see above).

Identify/display updates during build instead of displaying them as consecutive remove and add.

Categories:
You can specify categories in setup with the following attributes:
- Name (required field)
- Description (optional field)
- Background: Background Image (optional field)
- Contains Filter for File Location, (case-sensitive): this will filter the movies based on their fullname(including path) containing the specified value (hence you can filter on directories). In case it's empty then all movies showed.
E.g.:
- filter: HD Movies\ for directory C:\Movies\HD Movies\
- filter: HD Movies2\ for directory C:\Movies\HD Movies2\
When there are no categories specified then you go straight to movies. When there's any category specified then it will appear before displaying the movies for you to select. It's a simple coversview, but the skin is defined to look similar to the horizontal menu. Note: The "Movies" button suppose to be at the same location as in the Main menu. For some reason the active menu item in the main menu is not centered in the rectangle, at least not centered for me, hence you may need to tweak either the categories.xml or the menu/horizontal.xml if you wish to line them up.

vik
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys,

I’ve ended up creating a simple Movies plugin. It doesn’t scrape the metadata from the web instead it relies on already existing nfo files. e.g.: I used Ember Media Manager to create them, and to grab fan and cover art. On the Settings screen you need to specify your movie directories and an output xml (defaults to: <data directory>/Plugins/Movies/output.xml). This output xml is going to store all your movies like a "database" (basic metadata, video file location, cover and fan art location). After you specified the movie directories and the output xml you may choose the Update Mode (see checkbox) and hit the Build XML button. It’s going to generate a log (<data directory>/Plugins/Movies/Movies.log) of the potential changes it’s going to make or it has made (in case Update Mode was selected). I recommend running it without update and if you’re happy with the result seen in the Movies.log then you may run it in Update Mode to create/update your output xml. The last 3 output xml’s are also saved in case of any issue.

Upon build it’s going to go through the specified directories recursively and look for *.nfo files and related video files, cover and fan arts in the following order and grab the first one available:

nfo: movie.nfo, <moviename>.nfo.

video file: for movie.nfo it grabs the first *.<videoextension>, for <moviename>.nfo the first <moviename>*.<videoextension>, where <videoextension> based on VideoLibrary extensions in config.xml

cover art: movie.tbn, movie.jpg, movie.png, poster.tbn, poster.jpg, poster.png, folder.tbn, folder.jpg, folder.png, <moviename>.tbn, <moviename>.jpg, <moviename>.png

fan art: fanart.jpg, fanart.png, <moviename>-fanart.jpg, <moviename>-fanart.png, <moviename>.fanart.jpg, <moviename>.fanart.png

The movie must have:

nfo file,

Video file (based on VideoLibrary extensions in config.xml),

ID (IMDBID from nfo),

Title (from nfo)

to make it to the the "database" (output xml).

If you already have an output xml (i.e. Build XML has been run multiple times), it’s going to compare the already existing output xml with the current data read from the movie directories and remove missing items and/or add new ones, changed items handled by subsequent remove and add.

Movies identified based on their

ID (IMDBID)

the fullname (with path) of their nfo file,

the timestamp (last write time) of the nfo file.

Hence, in case you rename the original nfo file, or change the content of it (timestamp changes), it’s going to remove the old record from the output xml and re-add it based on the current nfo file. Also you can tweak the output xml manually as long as you won’t change the above values in the output xml, and the original nfo file itself, your manual changes should stick through multiple builds.
Features:

There are 3 views (list, covers, icons), see View button, ALT-B, blue button

There’s a Details screen, which pops up when an item is selected (this feature can be turned on/off for the different views on Settings). There’s also a button for it: Details button, ALT-R, Red button

You can sort by Title, SortTitle, Year, see Sort button, CTRL-S, ALT-Y, yellow button, (You can choose to display SortTitle instead of Title when sorted by SortTitle)

0-9, Jump to 0-90 percent of the way through the list (for any sort)

A-Z Jump to the first item that starts with that letter (for Title and SortTitle sorts)
