Hi

Ive only just decided to start using the My Music plugin to rip CD's from within GB-PVR. I already had DBPowerAmp installed, but followed the rest of the instructions in the WiKi. Ive configured the plugin in the config app but when running My Music it flashes breifly (1-2 sec) to the 'video now playing...' black screen as if playing video through my PVR-350 and displays the error message above.

Any ideas?? The suspect part of thwe log file is as follows:

27/07/2005 18:21:21.225 VERBOSE [2] HideMouse ref=-1

Yeah its in there, i use the default 'Blue' skin and have only changed the settings of the main menu to scroll so the selected item stays at the centre, nothing else.

Thanks for quick reply reven

are you using the latest version of the plugin? honestly im just kind of guessing here, i havent worked on my music in a long time, and i know the version im running is different than the one on wiki (probably just small changes ive made here and there, but nothing major, but i did remove the "LoadMenuBar()" part which you can see its failing in the log (but i think i removed that from the latest version online aswell).

I downloaded the version from the new WiKi site, im at the g/f so cant check what version it is. Do you have a download link for the most recent version?

reven

yeah if you got it from the new wiki it should be the latest version. ill post another version in a couple of days, or later today which will hopefully fix this bug.

well i opened up my favourite code editor, went to fix the problem and found i had already fixed it about 4 months ago, i just never updated it on the wiki :)

so its there now, version 2.1.0.1, since i havent done anything to this in 4 months, there may be a few extra things in this version, or a few more bugs, i have no idea what (if anything) else ive done to it.

try this one, it might crash, but it might not, but still its buggy just trying to get why there is a bug. i think it might be the skin, since it works fine on my machine and everyone elses, the bug is to do with drawing the page down button, so in this version thye might not be drawn. so just run it and post the log.

stu8080

If the problem is with the skin perhaps it is because i changed the main menu xml file to give me a scrolling main menu? Thats the only change i made to the skin?

Will post the log file today and let you know.

Thanks reven

are you sure you are using the most current dll i attached (ive delete it now, but it was downloaded twice). this is what is at line 402

if(btnPgDown == null)
i just put this safety check in to try and debug your problem, and its impossible for this line to throw that error.

Yeah i thought i downloaded it, obviously not. i might have overwritten it by mistake.

If you post it again i will try today, i see you are online now.

i give up, the problem has something to do with your page up/down buttons but i have no idea what, im unable to come close to reproducing the problem and i have no idea why/how it could happen.

stu8080

nothing to do with the fact im using the old haupaggue remote?

nevermind thanks for looking at it for me though, appreciated

Stu

reven

nah nothing to do with the remote, the thing it keeps coming back to is the page up/down buttons, which suggest its something wrong with the skin, you might have a corrupt file or something (eg a bad image for the page up/down image, or they're just missing or something), try a few other skins. thats the only thing it can be, well that i can think of.

I have the same problem here!
I had not used the plugin for a while, so I don't know if it's related to upgrading to GBPVR 0.93.10...

I first encountered the \pbsbbtn-selected.png error, although the image was present and valid... On the wiki I saw a new version of the plugin, so I installed it. And now I get the "object reference..." error!

I haven't changed the settings of the plugin. But I have updated GBPVR and other My... plugins, so it might be related to either one of these... Any idea?

mlanglois
2005-08-26, 06:29 PM
OK, I've been playing around in order to solve the problem... And I've found out that the error message shows up only when I disable MyPictures in the plugins list (I'm using the lastest alpha version of MyPictures).

If I re-activate MyPictures, then MyMusic works fine! I don't really know how the two are related, but it's good to know.

Once again reven, thanks for your great plugins!
