Function of RED remote button in mini-guide

Does anybody know what the function of the red button (of the hauppauge PVR-350 remote) should be when the mini guide is active ?

From memory, the red button isn't supported to do anything in the mini-guide. I'll try it a little later.

I think it also might have to do with the Hauppauge IR software, i reinslatlled the software which led to the ir driver to become active again .. after i deactivated it, the red button did not crash the system anymore
