Just started using Imagegrablite and have a problem with downloading cover art. It only seems to work on some titles where it only downloads the XML file and not the jpg (into the shows folder). If I use searchlite then it finds and downloads the cover art OK.

In the log below it does not find the art for "river monsters" even though it finds the XML file and thetvdb has the info. Also the episode mentioned around it (Cece Crashes) is not for that program but another in the pending recordings. Tried running "imagegrablite --updateepg" multiple times and also after deleting the xml file first.

thanks

That's odd can you compress and sent your npvr.db3 file. Cece Crashes should be "New Girl" which I don't see in your log. Some of you log messages show messages that I only expect to see with a unique id too. Maybe this digiguide data has one that is different then I expect.

Ok, I have updated the wiki with a new imageGrabLite. I was actually making two bad logic assumptions first, that the unique_id was valid and also that
original_air_date would be found.

Thanks Martin for such quick work, all working fine now. I notice that it produces a .tbn file with a banner image as well now. This is not used by NPVR is it?

Thanks and thanks for the database, it helped a lot. Unfortunately sub decided that he didn't want to support banner files, but I decided, I'd get them just in case, I think it will really add some bling to the recording screen, if he changes his mind. It isn't a new feature though probably weren't getting them before because of the other problems that were fixed.

b00sfuk. Do you have a reliable link or guide to extracting the EPG as an XML from digiguide?

I bought a 2 years subscription over a year ago but for reasons that i can't recall, I stuck with XMLTVGUI. However, i like the look of the data in your database with film classification (rating) and star rating.
Some of the install info I have (re: dgxmltv ) seems to be a but scrappy and rather than hack around , I thought I would check with someone who has it all working.

I just used the simple clear instructions at http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/wiki/index.php/UK_Digi
The console or GUI XMLTVGUI command can be run in UPDATEEPG.BAT, I limit to the next seven days (with /D7) as Digiguide data can go out months.
The DG2XML download link might be broken but if a quick google can't find it for you let me know.

ah yes, I remember now. thank you. Yes the link is broken but I believe I have the file kicking about somewhere.
