step by step instructions for getting mvpmc dongle to work?

So, I have the wired mvp.

I downloaded the alpha version of dongle, which has dongle.bin and another file and I copy it to the dongle folder w/in gbpvr. I rename the dongle.bin file originally in there to 2.bin. However, it still pulls up the old blue theme and I don't notice any difference. What am I don't wrong?

You have to remove the power from the mvp to force it to load the dongle. If that doesn't work please send your gbpvr logs.

I just read your message in the main MVP forum. You will definitely need a dhcp server or Windows ICS to provide an IP address to the MVP before the mvpmc dongle can be loaded. Sorry this didn't click in earlier, I never talked to any cross connected users until I started on this forum.
