The way that ananova.com deals with the short programmes is to concatenate them to the previous programme and identify it as "followed by" - e.g.

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">
&#60;programme start=&#34;20040105183000 GMT&#34; stop=&#34;20040105190000 GMT&#34; channel=&#34;15&#34; x-broadcast=&#34;26643841&#34; x-programme=&#34;108707909&#34;&#62;
&#60;title lang=&#34;en&#34;&#62;South Today&#60;/title&#62;
&#60;category lang=&#34;en&#34; x-code=&#34;2000&#34;&#62;General News/Current Affairs&#60;/category&#62;
&#60;category lang=&#34;en&#34; x-code=&#34;2###&#34;&#62;News/Current Affairs&#60;/category&#62;
&#60;video&#62;
&#60;present&#62;yes&#60;/present&#62;
*&#60;aspect&#62;16&#58;9&#60;/aspect&#62;
&#60;/video&#62;
&#60;subtitles type=&#34;teletext&#34;&#62;&#60;/subtitles&#62;
&#60;/programme&#62;

and

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">
&#60;programme start=&#34;20040105185945 GMT&#34; stop=&#34;20040105190000 GMT&#34; channel=&#34;42&#34; x-broadcast=&#34;26638722&#34; x-programme=&#34;108706222&#34;&#62;
&#60;title lang=&#34;en&#34;&#62;Weather&#60;/title&#62;
&#60;category lang=&#34;en&#34; x-code=&#34;2100&#34;&#62;News/Weather Report&#60;/category&#62;
&#60;category lang=&#34;en&#34; x-code=&#34;2###&#34;&#62;News/Current Affairs&#60;/category&#62;
&#60;subtitles type=&#34;teletext&#34;&#62;&#60;/subtitles&#62;
&#60;/programme&#62;

Could be show as

South Today
followed by Weather

- in the ananova xmltv feed it&#39;s easy to see which should be &quot;followed by&quot; as the second programme is &quot;embedded&quot; in the first programme ends (i.e. they end at the same time - in this case both finish at 7pm.)

This adds a greater level of complexity in reading the xmltv file, but would &quot;read&quot; more like the TV schedules.

Cheers,
Andy

Ok, I&#39;ll look into this for the next release.
